Put your skills & tactics to the test

Discover the Skeeta

Skeeta is the very latest, ‘3rd Generation’ foiling dinghy that incorporates all-round performance.

Thanks to Skeeta Foiling Craft, who designed the Skeeta, sailors now have the option to foil safely and comfortably on a boat which is stable and user friendly in both foiling and displacement modes.

Whilst being fast, exciting and capable of foiling manoeuvres when up in the air, the boat also has excellent handling and stability in displacement mode.

Due to all of these qualities and the wide wind range for sailing, the Skeeta is the ultimate all round foiling dinghy.

Trusted around the world

The Skeeta has been used by Ineos team UK Americas cup team for foil training purposes, is currently used by the USA Sail GP team in their pathway program, by the Italian Sailing Federation for their foiling pathway, by the Royal Yachting Association for their integration of foiling into the GBR national sailing scheme and by sailing schools all around the globe.

An inclusive platform

Skeeta Class rules

Skeeta has been designed as a high performance, one-design sailing dinghy with the capability to provide both foiling and displacement sailing.

Skeeta is ideally suited to young and old sailors and features 3 different rigs to allow competition for a wide range of levels of ability, age, size, and wind conditions. These are the 7.2m, 8.5m and 9.5m.

The Skeeta Class supports inexpensive one-design racing with or without lifting foils, where the emphasis is on skill and tactics rather than equipment. The Skeeta Class provides a fun and inclusive platform for fair and friendly competition.

An open community of sailors

About the Skeeta Class

The Skeeta Class has been created to ensure current and future Skeeta sailors can access both training and regattas in the world’s most versatile foiler.

Sailed by Americas Cup sailors, Sail GP students, RYA foiling instructors and by club/ national level sailors, the Skeeta is used for a wide variety of reasons.

The Skeeta offers several benefits for training and is an excellent platform to introduce sailors to foiling. In addition, there is also a fleet emerging across the UK (and overseas) by sailors of all ages and levels flying above the water at their local sailing club in the Skeeta!

This Skeeta class association is in place to support the national fleet in the UK through training weekends and regattas as well as providing up to date information on class rules and any important information regarding the Skeeta from the HQ in Australia.
